This hotel has a very unusual design and construction and is made up of two separate buildings, one at the foot of the hill and the other at the top. The buildings are linked by cable car. (07/07 HO) Location The hotel is located in a residential area on the left bank, 10 minutes from the historical centre and Charles Bridge. The new tunnel, which leads to Munich is just 200 metres from the hotel. The underground and tram are 350 metres away, 20 minutes' walk from Wenceslas Square. Distance 3 kms to city centre 12 kms to the airport (václav havel airport prague) 210 kms to the airport (brno-turany airport) 3 minute walk to the nearest metro station (andel) 5 km to the nearest station (hlavni nadrazi) 3 minute walk to the nearest bus stop 5 km to the nearest fair site (palace kultury) Rooms The rooms of the hotel are large and kept in good condition along with the bathrooms. They are spacious with modern furniture and decorated in bright colours with large windows. Restaurant The restaurant is located on the ground floor and is split level with a summer terrace for outdoor dining. It is not particularly intimate and has a large group restaurant area with a huge buffet display in the middle. Exterior This is a modern building, comprised of two separate blocks. It has an unusual modern design. Lobby The lobby is medium in size, modern, bright, and spacious with 3 separate reception desks. There is a small informal coffee/bar and ice cream parlour next to the bustling, busy lobby.
